Delete your Hey BigHead account and data

This page is for the Hey BigHead podcast app for iPhone and Android, operated by Neon Blvd LLC.

Delete in the app

  1. Sign in to your Hey BigHead account.
  2. Open the Account tab.
  3. Select Delete account, read the confirmation, and confirm deletion.

Request deletion without the app

You do not need to reinstall the app or create another account. Email [email protected] with the subject Hey BigHead account deletion. Send the request from the address associated with your app account and say that you want the account and its linked app data deleted.

If you cannot access that email address, explain this in your request so we can discuss a way to verify ownership. Do not include a password, verification code, payment details, or identity document. We will verify ownership before deleting another person’s account or private information.

What is deleted

Confirmed in-app deletion immediately removes your authentication account, profile, saved episodes, account listening progress, notification preferences and device registrations, votes, and account question submissions from the active app database. It ends your account sessions. Deletion cannot be undone; a newly created account does not restore deleted favorites or history. Email requests are handled by the Hey BigHead support team after ownership is verified; they are not automatically processed when an email is sent.

Data kept separately

Guest listening progress and other guest preferences saved only on your device are separate from your account. You can clear them using the app’s available controls or your device’s app-data controls. Public episodes, guest profiles, and artwork are editorial content and are not deleted with a listener account.

Guest applications, sponsorship inquiries, and support emails are separate records. To request deletion of those records, email the same address and identify the submission and email address used. You may request deletion of those records without deleting an app account.

Deleted account data may remain in the account database’s rolling seven-day daily-backup window until those backups expire. Provider operational/security logs have separate retention practices. Records required by law or necessary to address fraud or a dispute may be retained for that purpose. See the app privacy policy for more detail.
